Beaches Negril is located on the widest stretch of Negril’s famous 7 mile beach in Jamaica. Negril is known for having superb beaches which means they are great for swimming, sunbathing, water skiing, knee boarding, snorkeling, SCUBA, wind surfing or paddleboards. You will also find Hobie Cats for sailing, kayaks, and water trikes. The water sports team will be happy to help you become an expert at wind surfing or sailing.

The snorkel boat departs several times a day transporting guests to different sights for an ideal experience.  If SCUBA is one of your lifelong dreams, take advantage of the “resort course” offered at the resort, for a minimal fee.  Certifying with this course will give you the opportunity to dive at any Beaches or Sandals Resort a period of 1 year.  If already certified, SCUBA, including gear, is included, and the dive boat will take divers out once or twice a day!

A kids diving program, is available for kids age 8 and older.

The PADI Bubblemaker Program introduces children to the thrill of breathing underwater.  This program introduces SCUBA in a pool setting through games and activities. (Additional cost for this program).

The PADI Seal Program affords children the opportunity to discover a world of underwater fun and adventure built around action-packed Aqua Missions! (Additional cost for this program).

Pirates Island Water Theme Park an 18,000 square foot waterpark with 4 water slides and a 92’ meandering lazy river!  These activities are not just for kids, adults have just as much fun!

Beaches Kids Kamp, which is open from 9am to 9pm every day, features a wide variety of activities in a safe environment.  The Kids’ Camp is supervised by trained nannies, and is available for kid’s age 0-14!  Children are placed in age groups, so that they will be participating in appropriate activities.  Private Nanny sitting is also available, for an hourly rate. Sesame nursery provides care for newborns up to 3 years old. Baby strollers and Beach buggy rentals are available per day.

For the older kids, Xbox 360 Game Garage is a big hit with no quarters required, and all the newest games available!  The Trench Town Teen Center is a supervised area for Teens only, complete with foosball, basketball machines, and bean bags! For an additional charge Beaches offers a Scratch DJ Academy that is a big hit with the teens.  With the kids being kept busy with all of the resort activities, Mom and Dad are free to enjoy the beach, go for a sail on a Hobie Cat, have drinks around the pool, or have a quiet lunch at one of the many restaurants.

Speaking of restaurants, Beaches Negril has 8: The Mill Restaurant Indoor-Buffet, Arizona’s serving Tex-Mex Cuisine, BBQ Park for wraps, burgers and Jamaican pastries, Café de Paris for cappuccino, espresso and pastries, Dino’s Pizzeria for savory and sweet gourmet handmade pizzas, Kimono’s serving Japanese Teppanyaki, Stewfish for Jamaican seafood, The Venetian for Italian and Sweeties for ice cream.

With advance notice the chef will prepare a menu for any special dietary needs or allergies.

Evening entertainment includes family activities such as dance lessons, karaoke, and family shows. Liquid at Beaches offers teens/tweens a cool place to visit when the sun goes down. From 9:00pm -11:00pm tweens/teens themed nights with guest DJ’s and the best part “no parents allowed”. Adults 18 and older come in from 11:00pm -3:00am with a fully stocked premium drink bar and piano bar sing along 3 nights a week at the Venetian. Don’t miss the theme nights at The Big Top Amphitheatre.

Accommodations at Beaches Negril range from the Deluxe Negril rooms, with 2 double beds or a king bed, to a 3 bedroom Caribbean Beachfront suite, complete with Butler Service.

All rooms include a refrigerator stocked with sodas, juice, and water. It will be restocked daily.

Beaches Negril is a very popular place for Destination Weddings called WeddingMoons and Honeymoons.
